Wentworth & Fenn isn’t just a bakery—it’s a labor of love, run by a talented friend of mine. Over the years, we found ourselves collaborating whenever inspiration struck, brainstorming ways to use professional photo and video to amplify her social media presence. With each project, the goal was the same: to make content that felt just as handcrafted and delightful as her baked goods.
PROCESS:
THE JOURNEY
Our process was casual but intentional. We’d meet in person or hop on a call to chat about what was working in her marketing, what wasn’t, and what fresh ideas we could try. Seasonal offerings and holidays often sparked our best ideas, and we worked together to highlight her specialties during those key moments. To lighten her workload, I also suggested ways to bring in local creators for user-generated content—keeping her feed dynamic without adding more to her plate.
OUTCOME
THE BUILD
Over time, we created a hero video for her website and social ads, captured hundreds of gorgeous action shots and portraits, and came up with strategies to stretch each piece of content for weeks (sometimes months!). The end result wasn’t just beautiful visuals—it was a more sustainable, less stressful approach to marketing her business online.
LESSONS
REFLECTIONS
This partnership taught me that small businesses don’t always need big budgets to make a big impact. Sometimes, it’s about offering ideas, guidance, and tools to make their marketing manageable and authentic to their brand, and realistic within their capacity.
