Initially joined as a camera operator, then brought on as Creative Director for a six-month contract after proving value on-set. Tasked with supporting their global content and merchandising teams during a major growth phase as they scaled beyond YouTube.
Collaborated across teams to develop creative direction for new products, including toys and books distributed through Target, Walmart, and Barnes & Noble. Directed and shot video content, contributed to ideation, and helped manage their remote editing team to keep production running at scale. Worked closely with their merchandising partners to align visuals and messaging across all consumer touchpoints.
Supported successful launches of multiple consumer products and helped maintain the quality and consistency of content going out to FGteeV’s global audience. Improved communication between creative, editorial, and merchandising teams, reducing bottlenecks and freeing leadership to focus on strategy.
Confirmed the value of versatile creative leadership—being able to pivot between strategy, hands-on production, and cross-team coordination is what kept everything moving. Reinforced the importance of building systems that let creative teams operate independently without losing cohesion.
